How to Operate
- Pour 10-20ml of standard baby oil or mineral oil into the detector's filler port. Do not overfill.
- Disconnect the pipe or system you wish to test (e.g., EVAP line or intake manifold) and connect the smoke output hose using the provided universal cone adapter.
- Connect the red and black power clamps directly to the vehicle's 12V battery.
- Turn on the power switch. Wait 30 seconds for the internal heating element to generate thick smoke.
- Introduce the smoke into the system and use a bright torch to inspect for escaping smoke, indicating the exact location of the leak.
